Refund policy

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

This policy applies to products purchased from the School Fitness Ireland online store. It does not limit any rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.

CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS FOR CONSUMERS

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may cancel most online purchases without giving a reason. You must tell us within 14 calendar days after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods. If an order is delivered in separate shipments, the period begins when the final item is received.

After notifying us, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that notification.

To start a return, email office@schoolfitnessireland.com before sending anything. Include your name, order number, the items being returned and your reason for returning them. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of postage or transport for change-of-mind returns. Use a trackable and suitably insured service and keep proof of postage until the refund is completed. Some equipment, mat packs and other bulky products can be expensive to return. Where available, we may offer to arrange collection at an agreed cost.

CONDITION OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Returned goods should be unused, unassembled and in resalable condition, with all parts, accessories, manuals, labels and original packaging where reasonably possible. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or not as described, contact office@schoolfitnessireland.com as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where helpful. Please contact us before arranging a return.

For an accepted fault, damage or fulfilment error, School Fitness Ireland will arrange the return or reimburse reasonable return costs. You will not be required to bear the return cost for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods.

Irish consumer law may entitle consumers to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of receiving them. Depending on the circumstances and the time elapsed, you may instead be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in this policy restricts those statutory rights.

REFUNDS

For a valid cancellation, we will refund the price paid and, where the whole order is cancelled, the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional charges for premium or expedited delivery are not refundable beyond the standard delivery amount. If only part of an order is returned, the original delivery charge is not normally refunded.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first. We will process the refund without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.

EXCLUSIONS

The statutory right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including custom-branded or made-to-order products; sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed; goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; or other items excluded by law. These exclusions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel before dispatch, contact us immediately. We will try to stop the shipment but cannot guarantee this once processing has begun. If it has already shipped, the change-of-mind return process and return costs above apply.

BUSINESS AND ORGANISATIONAL CUSTOMERS

The statutory cooling-off right generally applies to consumers and may not apply where an order is made wholly for business, trade or professional purposes. Returns from business, school or organisational customers that are not legally consumers require prior agreement, except where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or contractual rights otherwise apply.
